About Brian

I am a figurative and landscape painter. The figurative work is of people who I am close to. The landscape is primarily of the Otago Harbour and peninsula.

I graduated with a Diploma of Fine and Applied Arts, Otago Polytechnic 1978 (Major Graphics). My art experience includes overseas travel through Australia, South East Asia, Britain, Europe, and New York, involving extensive study of art in galleries and museums between 1978-1981. My exhibitions showcased my work from 1984 to 2004 in Dunedin, Wanaka and Oamaru. Brian Morris is also represented by the Gillan Gallery, Parnell, Auckland
